This person will be responsible for all aspects of the worship ministry including planning, preparing, and leading a blended worship service each Sunday. In addition this person will plan, develop, coordinate and evaluate all children’s ministry programs for infants through grade 5. I have been the pastor of two independent churches and one Southern Baptist church. Our doctrine is baptistic, however, we are not label-oriented.

We have been blessed to see wonderful growth in every church where God has allowed us to serve, and we are looking to help another church that is willing to make Christ and the Scriptures the main attraction.

In 2002, we started another ministry called Hitting Home. Not only am I able to manage this ministry from any place in the United States, but it also provides funding so that I am able to serve at a church even if they are not able to pay a full-time salary.

I am looking to pastor a people that are willing to:

1. Climb to new spiritual heights

2. Reach their respective community

3. Be doctrinal and practical, yet inspired at the same time

4. Allow Christ and the Scriptures to be the main attraction

5. Allow the leadership of the Holy Spirit to overide any traditions that may hinder the work of God

6. Live out Biblical Christianity rather than any particular form of “churchianity”

7. Be happy with Biblical results and methods rather than getting caught up in church polity

Basic Information about our church:
- Multi-ethnic/multi-lingual congregation with Bible classes in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Organized 86 years with 200+ membership
- Attendance in worship services along with children is 195 (as of 11/1/09) with the following breakout: 35% Mandarin speaking, 35% English speaking, 6% Cantonese speaking, 12% Youth, and 12% Children
- Member of SBC and BGCT

Profile of prospective pastor:
- Seminary trained (ThM, or MDiv preferred)
