Our Each One – Reach One events are designed to involve the entire local church to engage and impact their own sphere of influenece for Christ. We believe that minsitry should be balanced with each person sharing in the reposibility of Evangelism and Discipleship. David’s testimony from “Cocaine to Christ” will draw people and keep them on the edge of their seat; pointing them to the cross and before a decision of what to do about Jesus Christ and the need for salavation. I have been saved by the Lord for over 20 years and my faith has been very stron in all I seek. The Lord called me and led me to be ordained as a Pastor. I have copies of my ordination to show. I would like to either start my own church with others who are interested in joining me or a church already formed and waiting for a caring compassionate pastor. The First Chinese Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Lead Pastor to lead and motivate the church to fulfill its vision of a united God-centered church of equipped disciples reaching the Asian community:

Basic Information about our church:
- Multi-ethnic/multi-lingual congregation with Bible classes in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Organized 86 years with 200+ membership
- Attendance in worship services along with children is 195 (as of 11/1/09) with the following breakout: 35% Mandarin speaking, 35% English speaking, 6% Cantonese speaking, 12% Youth, and 12% Children
- Member of SBC and BGCT

Profile of prospective pastor:
- Seminary trained (ThM, or MDiv preferred)
- Minimum 3 years (5 preferred) of Asian pastoral or related experience in North America
- Fluent in English is a must, fluent in Mandarin highly desired, and the ability to communicate in Cantonese a plus
- Married, with U.S. PR/Citizen status

Total salary package range is $55,000-$65,000.
