Description

The First Chinese Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Lead Pastor to lead and motivate the church to fulfill its vision of a united God-centered church of equipped disciples reaching the Asian community:

Basic Information about our church:
- Multi-ethnic/multi-lingual congregation with Bible classes in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
- Organized 86 years with 200+ membership
- Attendance in worship services along with children is 195 (as of 11/1/09) with the following breakout: 35% Mandarin speaking, 35% English speaking, 6% Cantonese speaking, 12% Youth, and 12% Children
- Member of SBC and BGCT

Profile of prospective pastor:
- Seminary trained (ThM, or MDiv preferred)
- Minimum 3 years (5 preferred) of Asian pastoral or related experience in North America
- Fluent in English is a must, fluent in Mandarin highly desired, and the ability to communicate in Cantonese a plus
- Married, with U.S. PR/Citizen status

Total salary package range is $55,000-$65,000.
